Asus CS10 ChromeBit


The Chromebit is the size of an extra large USB Flash Drive and runs Googles Chrome Operating System.

Though Asus have a decent web page they appear to have largely abandoned, which is not surprising, as the end of support life is Novenber 2020, the Asus TInkerboard is also based around the same SoC, as are other nearing end of life Asus ChromeBooks C201 & C100PA Flip

Personally I live 95% of my computing time on my Huawei Mate 10 Pro Android 9 Smart Phone, but for the other times I need a large screen format it seemed a waste to use a PC or Laptop.

Initially I found that the Chromebit, plugged into my HDTV was ideal for the following tasks:

Web Browsing
Google Mail
Google Docs
Youtube
Microsoft Outlook
Microsoft Web Office

Though despite not finding much information, was wondering if USB Camera with Microphone and a USB Sound Card would function, and indeed they just work with zero configuration, by using a USB2 un-powered Hub, so now can add the following to my tasks:

Skype
